Ikea
You took me to Ikea and we tried out all the sofas trying to find the one with the perfect amount of sinkage, and you made me scrambled eggs in one of the kitchens and had to serve it in a casserole dish. And then we laughed when we opened up one of the cupboards and found all the plates. We wrote our names on all the chalkboards and inside all the little books that were for the children to fill with crayon drawings. And we took the Ikea pencils and made ties out of the paper metre rulers and you were surprised that I knew how to tie one up. And when we were in the bedrooms we lay down on all the beds and pretended to look through the bedside drawers when anyone else walked past.
This is the thing about us. It was so easy.
